After a decade and over 30,000 health assessments across the UK and Ireland, I realised health checks alone weren’t creating real change. So in 2022, I left the corporate world, swapped the constant travel for purpose, and launched Damerell Coaching — a place to help cyclists over 40 lose weight, build strength, and ride stronger without spending endless hours on the bike. Drawing on my own experience in triathlons, marathons, and Ironmans, I’ve helped riders like Duncan drop 14 kg and boost his FTP by 20 watts, and others like Mark and Michael get leaner, stronger, and more confident on the bike.
